"The desire to reach for the stars is ambitious. The desire to reach hearts is wise" - Maya Angelou

Let's begin with what is most important. Regardless of the role I am fulfilling in the therapeutic relationship – whether it be therapist or clinical supervisor – :

  • The services that I provide are tailored to your goals, visions, and needs.

  • I create a "brave space" that is safe, yet allows for growth, acknowledging the strength it requires to be vulnerable and courageous.

  • I strive to create an empathetic, non-judgmental environment that allows you to bring your authentic self.

  • I consider it an honor and a privilege to join you on this journey, and I take this responsibility seriously.

  • I adhere to all ethical standards and guidelines, particularly those related to client welfare, confidentiality, professional boundaries, and autonomy.

  • I acknowledge that I do not possess all the answers.

  • The client-therapist relationship and therapist-supervisor relationship are essential in this journey. I acknowledge that I am not for everybody and that is okay. If you come to realize at any point during your experience that this is the case, I want to create a transparent environment that enables you to communicate this and helps facilitate a conversation to connect you with a therapist or supervisor who better suits your needs.
